ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to understand the description of the industrial relations climate at the enterprise-level from the point of view of unionized workers. Unit of analysis is the entire population unit consisting of 58 groups of unionized workers at enterprise-level unions (SP-TP) that affiliated with SPSI, SPN, SBSI and SBSI 92 in garment enterprises in Bandung Raya. The obsevation unit involved 58 SP-TP leaders. The method used is descriptive survey (exploratory survey) through cross sectional tabulation table to data collected from interview, observation and questionnaire. The results show that generally, the industrial relations climate has not been conducive. The implications of this study contribute to the industrial relations climate literature conceptually and empirically. In addition, practical implications become learning materials for companies and unions in an effort to create conducive industrial relations in the company.
